Weihua YUE Professor YUE Weihua is Deputy Director of Institute of Mental Health, Peking University. She got the Medicine Degree in 2003 from Central South University, China. Now she is the Professor of Psychiatry (Research Fellow), Institute of Mental Health, Peking University. Her major research interests are in the molecular genetics of psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia, autism, and major depression. Professor Yue has co-authored more than 80 original articles in peer-review journals, such as Nature Genetics, Molecular Psychiatry, Schizophrenia Bulletin, etc. She also is a peer reviewer for the New England Journal of Medicine, Molecular Psychiatry, Scientific Reports; Comprehensive Psychiatry, etc. As the principal investigators (PI), the applicant has also take charge of 5 programs from the National Nature Science Foundation of China (NSFC), 1 program of the National Key Project of Research and Development Plan, 1 program of 863, 2 subjects of 973 program, 2 National “Twelfth Five-Year” Plan for Science & Technology program. In 2012 she was supported by the National Natural Science Funds of China for Young Scholar (first batch), as well as the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University. She also has been playing important roles in two national committees of CSP and CSNP, as well as associate director of the National Clinical Center for Psychiatric and Mental Disorders (Peking University Sixth Hospital).
