Raymond CHAN Dr. Raymond C. K. Chan, Ph.D. Distinguished Professor of Neuropsychology and Applied Cognitive Neuroscience Deputy Director, Key Laboratory of Mental Health Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Science E-mail: rckchan@psych.ac.cn Dr. Raymond Chan received his Ph.D. from the University of Hong Kong in 2001. He has been conducting research actively in neuropsychology and mental health, including (1) early identification and intervention for schizophrenia and related neuropsychiatric disorders, (2) understanding cognitive deficits in patients with schizophrenia and its underlying psychopathology, (3) the underlying structural and functional connectivity abnormalities of schizophrenia and related neuropsychiatric disorders. He is now a distinguished professor of neuropsychology and applied cognitive neuroscience at the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Mental Health, and honorary professor at the Department of Psychiatry, the University of Hong Kong. He also takes up the honorary director for research at the Institute of Mental Health, Castle Peak Hospital (Hong Kong) and honorary director for the Translational Neuropsychology and Applied Cognitive Neuroscience Lab at the Shanghai Mental Health Centre.
